Visitors to my website
I collect anonymous information about the use of my website to find out information such as the parts of my site that are most and least used.
When someone visits www.lordknows.co.uk I use standard web server logging to record requested website pages and files and the IP address from which requests are made. The IP address does not identify individual users.
I also use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect information such as pages visited, actions taken, location of the user (at the level of region or city) and technology used. This information is anonymous.
What information do I collect about you?
I only collect information about you if I have a reason to do so – for example, to provide services or information more tailored to your needs, to communicate with you, or to improve my services. Usually, this is your name, organisation, email address and enquiry or preferences.
People who make an enquiry via the website
If you submit an enquiry form on my website I will securely retain your contact details and enquiry until you request me to delete your details by emailing adam@lordknows.co.uk
People who sign up to receive newsletters via the website
If you sign up to receive newsletters on my website I will securely retain your contact details and preferences until you request us to delete your details by emailing adam@lordknows.co.uk or following the ‘unsubscribe’ link on a newsletter email.
Your name, organisation, email address and preferences will be held securely on MailChimp’s servers. View MailChimp’s privacy policy.
Retention of personal information
In some cases, there are legal requirements to keep personal data for a minimum period, for example, if it must be retained by court order or where Lord Knows Ltd is under a contractual obligation to retain it. If there is no such legal requirement, I will only keep the personal data for so long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as expressly consented. If I no longer need your personal information, I will delete it. Even if I delete your personal data, it may persist on backup media for an additional period of time for legal, tax or regulatory reasons, or for legitimate and lawful business purposes.

I will never share or sell your personal information with any other organisation.
