Recently, I completed a website for The Old Warehouse in Ely. The Old Warehouse is a block of short-term accommodation apartments.
Ely is a fantastic city for free parking unless you want to stay overnight. In that case, each car park has its own rules about early morning parking with different restrictions. On market days, it’s different again. It can be difficult for new city visitors who wish to stay the night and leave their car in one of the car parks.
To help make this as easy as possible, I hand drew a map of Ely showing the location of The Old Warehouse and every car park around it.
If a guest hovers over a car park, it brings up details of the restrictions for that car park. If a guest then wants directions from that car park to their apartment, it will bring up a Google map showing walking directions.
The website gives detailed walking instructions and a map for those visitors arriving by train. It also provides details of local taxi firms.
I aimed to address every question or concern guests may have about travelling to The Old Warehouse to make their stay as stress-free as possible.
